During the design process of my scarves design one of my samples was printed at 95 cm square which is an average scarve size, I decided once seeing this size that I wanted to increase the scale of my scarve design and instead of it just being a souvenier scarve it could also be worn as a sarong or kanga. This idea fits well with St Ives as it is a tourist town where the majority of people visit in the summer so as a product the souvenier scarve/sarong would do well.
I like the idea of an oversized scarve, I think it would make a statement and stand out, this idea of the dual purpose sarong/scarve could start a new trend in fashion and acccesories...
